Ive tried to download the new drivers from AMD for the Radeon HD 6870 before switching the graphic cards around I have both PCI-E connectors plugged into both of the 6 prong plugs on the new Radeon HD 6870 Ive checked all my connectors and made sure that the card was slotted correct
Ive checked BIOS and PCI-E is on for Display (On Board is off) Ive tried disabling the ATI 4200 through Safe Mode start up Ive tried uninstalling the ATI 4200 graphics card drivers and disabling it, through windows The issue Im having is that my monitor goes straight into sleep mode with VGA no input signal.
